De Element Sokka Hair Project 2018

Few weeks ago, we did our first season of total make over transformation for Dewi Perumal Oddiar, or more popularly known as Dewi Natasha. She was crowned as the winner for Miss Hannah’s World Tourism Malaysia 2018 and will be participating the final world stage in the Philippines next year.

Thank you for the team who been supporting our hair make over project especially to our Sokka Team, the talented makeup artist, Jum Wee Rian Tian and Cactus Teng photography. We hope we can collaborate with more talented people in coming years.

Charity Super Events @ Sutera Harbour

A charity night was held by one of Kota Kinabalu private association in Sutera Harbour Resort & Spa and De Element Sokka being a part of the charity sponsorship for Mr Jason Phang who is a famous blogger, ambassadors for few brands, a TV host, a VJ with ONFM Malaysia and also a social media influencer.

Once again this year, De Element Sokka team and together with our brand A.T Professional, had organized a charity visit to Holy Family Residence For Senior Citizen, Papar and Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sembulan. Besides contribute some of the daily essential household products, Sokka Team share our passion by providing free hair cuts to the elderly and for the kids.

This was the third time De Element Sokka team have been to Holy Family Residence For Senior Citizen, Papar and Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sembulan which the last visit was on February 2016 and March 2016.

Bright Vibrant Hair with Hairstyle Tips!

Hair color is a form of self expression and bright hair color caught our attention easily. For our model, Ms Elycia, we coloured her hair with ombre style which left her top crown with untouched dark tone. Then, Sokka team created highlights in every layers beneath her thick hair and Sokka team chooses green highlights with some brighter alternative blueish aqua turqouise for her.

After the hair color, Sokka team also treated her with our best selling treatment; Sokka Japanese Spa Treatment. It's great agent to help purify the scalp, neutralize any chemical residue and moisture plus repair the hair shaft. The hair reclaimed back its softness and bouncy even after bleach.

How To Take Care
To maintain a colored hair, use our A.T Organic Colour Shampoo / A.T Natural Colour Shampoo and conditioner.

For treatment masque:
Use our home care SOKKA Professional Exclusive Enrich Smoothing Masque 2-3 times in a week continously for a month and subsequently you need it for once in every week.

To avoid dry ends, add on a vitamin water spray that delivers nourishment and detangling benefits while protecting the hair during heat styling also UV damage.

SERUM is to seal all the vitamin moisture in your hair shaft.


How To Style
Every hair style has a different look and one of the easier hair style look is curled. With put on some setting of hair roller set at the end of hair and rolled back-in about 4 inches. Heat it with hair dryer and open it after 30mins then put on hair spray.

How To Style
1. Apply thermal protectant spray and a medium hold hair mousse to your damp hair.
2. Dry your hair using hairdryer, gently comb your hair with wide-tooth comb and creating curly volume using hot curling tongs.
3. Curl in medium length section and let it cool down then finished off with medium hold hair spray.

This rolled back waves with curly ends and added with sweet make up look can easily transform you into a smart and casual chic. This hairstyle is suitable for any high tea and dinner date.

The weekend is always a nice reminder to kick back and relax from the long hard week. In light of the fun and relaxing days ahead, messy or half-up top knot are suitable for weekend look.

How To Style
1. Simply pull your hair all over from the side into a ponytail. tied it up. To get more volume on the side, use a tail comb to tease around the side so it will look more puffy, relaxed and loose.
2. Grab the ponytail, flip over and give it another tied towards the hair ends. gentky spread the middle section of the ponytail so it will look rounded and fuller.
3. If you want it to stay longer, add a mild touch of hairspray to make sure everything stays in a good place andyou are ready to enjoy your weekend !

DE ELEMENT SOKKA HAIR TEAM-BUILDING OUTING TRIP 2016

On the 4th and 5th of May 2016, SOKKA Team had a team-building outing trip to Ocean Dream Beach Resort & Villas Karambunai.

It's the second chapter of SOKKA Team-Building session which the basis of the programs is learning through experience. It is a process through a learner constructs knowledge, skills and values from direct experience which initiate and enhance skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communications.

Work hard,.. Play hard...

Team-building not only to strengthen mental but also physically.

De Element Sokka Hair Team-Building Workshop.

On the 3rd of May, De Element Sokka Hair held a SOKKA Team-Building Workshop and led by Mr Tay, speaker from Singapore.

Our team-building workshop main core is to build the spirit of teamwork by creating a teamwork experiencing in a different contexts. By getting everyone out of daily work context and get to know each of every team member's personal intrigued. The team-building workshop was full of laughter, fun and enjoyment.

The SOKKA Team-Building Workshops objectives are:

        - To identify personal strengths, weakness, opportunity and threat of the team.

        - To achieve greater team spirit whilst achieving common team goal.

        - Improve their commitment and ability in problem solving.

There were few slides of videos, games with purpose and creative team activities. During the team-building sessions, we conducted an Getting-To- Know-You (Ice Breaker), played Mystery Problem Solving Puzzle, competed in The Great Egg Drop Challenge and finally, work on SOKKA Inspiration Sketches.

In the evening, we gather and have a dinner, not as a colleagues but more as a family of SOKKA. It was very meaning for each of us.

We did learnt that teamwork requires communication, understanding, and the ability to adapt to the behavioral styles of each member of the team.
